Donnie Tempo

Specifically Tazmanian Virus, we heard this playing in the Phonica store uptown and had a swift peek at what was playing.  So far we haven't found much out about who he is just that he's been jacking a long time.

Theres nothing on YT at the moment but there is a short piece of it on soundcloud trust me this gets crazier.

Elitechnique

Specifically Rooftops, I know its been ages since we gave you an update, to be honest I've heard nothing worthwile until now.

We'll link to the video here as its rather special, it shows the making of and the actual song which is some dreamy disco played out on Guitar and various old analogue synths (including an SH101).

Monday 3 December 2012

Graham Kartna (Kurkop)

Here is an album from prominent YTP and art film maker Graham Kartna  ( YOu may know him as Kurkop).  Its billed as a mix of kids music for big kids but can easily be listened to with little ones as well.
Made in entirely in tracker program (what we don't know as of yet) its a mix of easy going CDROM style game tunes and beats.  Get it here for $4

Sunday 4 November 2012

Perseus Traxx.

Its not often we link to the Clone shop, but damn if Perseus Traxx Misspent Emotions isn't the best thing evar.  Its the sort of old house that clone specialise in but with a healthy edge of Detroit Techno to it as well.

Apoena

Apoena Cooler, Techno or tech house listen and decide. Oh and sorry about ignoring the blog but haven't heard a lot of good stuff lately.

Haddaway not shite.

What is love on 8 floppy drives.

From MrSolidSnake745.

The real haddaway can be found here with Wolfram on 2011s Ep Thing Called love.

Soundex Phonetic

Damn this is funky and another for our watchlist.  Sorry for ignoring the blog of late but there really hasn't been anything that grabs my attention.

Tuesday 18 September 2012

Florence and the Machine

We didn't know they covered Drake & Rihannas Take Care, already a great song if you edit out all of Drakes rap, but this remix is absolutely Storming.   Its by a group / called ColeCo who we don't know too much about but I think are awesome.

Friday 7 September 2012

Beta X50

Spyware is an absolute electro bass monster from Beta X50, throwing down the kind of speaker troubling bass you'd normally find in Dubstep.  Its  available for sale here with three other tracks on the Virtual Reality EP.
You can have Bass of the decepticons as well, seeing as your speakers haven't suffered enough.

Jared Wilson

There's a new 7777 release out now for those interested in the more classic acid sound (i.e mental twisting analogue abuse and 808 overdrives).   If you loved This love from the Drug related stories EP these will be right up your street.  Discogs page and video link can be found here.

Monday 3 September 2012

More Jack Trax from Bunker.

Basically a heads up, for an upcoming release on Godspill of the Acid Mercenaries tracks.  This was from the ridiculously rare Panzerkreuz box set and is a reissue for the acid tracks, they have already reissued the Elec. PT1 tracks as well as the Sendex tracks as well so you know what to expect.

Tuesday 28 August 2012

Paris Britelegde and Paranoid London

Don't normally link to items for sale but damn, if you know your acid then this is for you.
Paris Briteledge on vocals and Paranoid London on drum machines and 303, incredible stuff.

Bunker Mix

A soundcloud mix highlighting 20 years of Bunker Records. Bunker stuff is normally limited to around 300 or so records so when its gone its gone.  If you're lucky enough to get one or find downloads on YT then you may remember some of these tracks.

Monday 20 August 2012

Goat yay 2

We were looking for an 8bit version of the original but this punk electro version will do.
By a group called Superpowerless, who really really like puppets it seems.

Thursday 16 August 2012

Mio Tek

Electro bomb with remix by Mr Velcro Fastener.  Definitely worth watching.

Monday 13 August 2012

Goat Yay

Kinda like the original Gotye Somebody that I used to know so was knocked sideways when this multi collab showed up in a Youchew thread.

Friday 10 August 2012

Derrick May Fact Mix

I know this is just to promote some dance club night, but theres a new Derrick May mix up on FACTS main site, don't know how old it is or what the listing is but as a techno head its damn near essential.

Saturday 4 August 2012

Hang Drum

So this is about 5 years old now, and I've just discovered this on Youtube, but this is one of the nicest sounds I've heard in a while.

More Information about hang drums here.
Sadly there seems to be no Soundfont or VST available for them and lots of dead links.

Tuesday 31 July 2012

Red Martian

Incredibly limited electro cut from someone who calls himself the Red Martian.  There is only ten copies of this around so if you are lucky enough to pick one up keep it.

For lesser Earthlings this Youtube upload will have to do.  Its of the a side Your Computer a insane piece of electro synth funk and we will link to the B side which is a cover of Yellow Magic Orchestra's Behind The Mask.

Saturday 28 July 2012

Rephlex Records Showcase

Courtesy of  BBC One World and youtube here comes almost 2 hours of epic braindance.  Could be from an Edith Bowman show its ripped from  but damn if this isn't possibly the best thing evar.

Watch Here or indeed Here

Thursday 26 July 2012

Black Narcissus X

A side project of Jodey Kendrick creating dark electro soundscapes and other robotic interludes.

Full channel Here.

Monday 23 July 2012

Neonicle

Russian electro, pretty damn good.  Its by Neonicle and is pretty cool.

Also check out the single HZ on the Android Funk Solutions album.

Sunday 22 July 2012

Background noises.

You gotta listen to background noise sometimes too.  Sometimes they sync up into a perfect rhythm like in this example above.  I know its an accident and highly tenuous but come on there is a steady rhythm of what sounds like an old clock and a mechanical hum along with purring that proves unusual but listenable.

This guy has a blog dedicated to his cats its called Kagoneko or cat basket and is possibly the cutest thing ever.  Cats in baskets, cats balancing fruit and cats just being cats.  Enjoy.

Wednesday 18 July 2012

Ceephax

People may or may not know that acid is my first love and it will be my last I fear.  This is something forthcoming on a 7" that is out soon.  Its the B side from Ceephax Acid Crew called Mediterranean Acid.

Its also my favourite video of the year by far.

Monday 16 July 2012

{UDS +EH} Sample Pack

Its our job to bring you the unusual the unsigned and the unconverted.  Here we bring you an electro stormer from Waveshaper Electronic Drumkits.

Its not a free download but you can play the track and indeed buy it from here if you think its any good.

Theres a mediafire link for the samples further down for all you producers out there.  (mono 495KB.)

Sunday 15 July 2012

Objection.

Normally don't rock much so you won't get this often, but this is cool.  Far as  I can tell Mystery skulls are an unsigned house rock band.
They have a band camp where you can buy tracks (linkied above) and this fan made video involving Phoenix Wright / Gyakuten Saiban.

Enjoy.

Chris Carter

An ambient drone type thing from Chris Carter of Throbbing Gristle, Carter Tutti fame.

Who also has an interesting blog for avid readers here.

Flemming Dalum

Robot Inauguration.

This is the official king tibbet listening page where we chill out with some cracking electronic music that most of you will never have heard off.  Whereas the regular King tibbet is all business at robot nunca visto we chill a little.  Most of the time it'll be either a youtube link of some stone cold classic or even a sound cloud link to get your teeth into unlike King Tibbet which is just words.

To prove it we'll link to one of the most influential DJs around Flemming Dalum.  "DJ, Producer, musician and record collector ... for the last 30 years".

This is his Soundcloud page with links to some incredible mixes.  Sadly no amazing run in the tube or what I first got interested in his work with, Dance of the obscure robot, but by my reckoning theres close to 6hours worth of Italo disco up there, filtered and mixed for your pleasure.
