Nice deep house rework of the Daft Punk / Nile Rogers summer smash Get Lucky.  Incidentally I would love to hear Fred Ventura or some other Italo Disco royalty sing this, hell this would sound better heavily accented.

Legowelt Loch Ness

Full on free album that was originally for a C64 game programmed as a competition prize (Can't remember what it was for maybe game ideas and stuff). 45 minutes of chip soundtrack jamz right here, my favourite is Loch Ness Martial Arts Club.

J Timble. Cover

A rather nice cover of Soup and Pie (suit and tie ED), this time making use of an Akai MPK controller to mess with the voice a bit.  Sterling stuff.

MNEK

First of all the original version by Rosie Gaines is possibly one of the worst of the whole speed garage genre in my eyes. An overblown intro that turns into a pedestrian beat, to be honest we're not impressed.

So its a shock to discover that there is a cover by MNEK that blows it out of the water and restores it with its slow mo Garage / Dubstep cover thing that is awesome.

Roy Davis Jnr Cover.

Welcome to the new year, I know its February already but this is a quick update to show you this, a deep cover version of Roy Davis Jnrs Gabirel.  It needs a trumpet in there somehow but its pretty darn solid without it.  Robot mode off.

Donnie Tempo

Specifically Tazmanian Virus, we heard this playing in the Phonica store uptown and had a swift peek at what was playing.  So far we haven't found much out about who he is just that he's been jacking a long time.

Theres nothing on YT at the moment but there is a short piece of it on soundcloud trust me this gets crazier.

Elitechnique

Specifically Rooftops, I know its been ages since we gave you an update, to be honest I've heard nothing worthwile until now.

We'll link to the video here as its rather special, it shows the making of and the actual song which is some dreamy disco played out on Guitar and various old analogue synths (including an SH101).
