Kimberly Anne Show Me Love Acapella

Been meaning to add a link to this as the resulting track from this is rather rancid in its execution.  Sam Feldt Show Me Love is a pretty sad EDM based updating of the Robin S(tones) classic house track (or rather the Stonebridge edit of this) of  the same name.  Its vile, its nasty and really only suitable for kids parties, where as the original acapella of this is actually quite nice indeed.   Its sort of sounds like old Portishead with a bit of Massive Attack thrown in (and I'd actually physically kill for a Mad Professor dub of this), not at all cheesy or trite.

Hear it here.

Legowelt Podcast for Creme

Been listening to this on my phone and yes you thought this place was dead.  Few good bits there that I can place a re edit of Kate Bush, some Snap that doesn't suck and the bonus beats from Deeelites Groove is in the Heart.  Along with a shed load of acid and house but no track list apart from what I've cobbled together above.

Listen Here.

New Aphex Stuff

Got Computer Controlled Instruments PT 2 yesterday and can safely say its a nice return to form with some strange avant garde rhythms being doled out by whatever computer controlled monstrosity is pimping on the strings.

He's also got a new Soundcloud account and its jammed full of weird releases, so if you aren't aware of it by now, you can, thanks to Richard Devine, listen to the whole damned lot collated into one handy file. See below.

User487363530 Mega Pack. 430MB rar file.
Unpacks to 110 tracks with 24 pieces of artwork.

Aphex Twin Interview. Pts 1+2

If you were ever disappointed by the recent Syro album released on Warp then these two interviews make up for it big time.  Oh and check out some of those sound cloud recordings on the page as they are well lush.

Model 500 / Amir Alexander / Traxx

Some heartening news today, Juan Atkins has, via Facebook given a brief preview of  some new stuff ready to go out on wax.  There is a private soundcloud track preview that may or may not work, but rest assured if you ever liked the kind of Techno he made on R+S back in the 90's this is very similar (and of course its Juan Atkins, so virtually a take my money for any true techno head).

This is a double announcement as there is a nice preview (via Clone) of some new tracks by Traxx and Amir Alexander on Annunaki Cartel.  You know the drill some tough ass chi town acid with some deep 303 patterns, we'll be keeping tabs on Amir as he seems to know his shit.

Kariya

This is a stone cold British House classic anthem but, until today I never realised that it was reedited and reworked back in the day for this bootleg.  Found out via Discogs and Youtube while looking for all things a version of Salsa House with Xaviera Golds you used to hold me over the top, and vague comments about a bootleg with a topless lady on the label.  It was done by Evil Eddie Richards, a name I remember from growing up (mainly due to his work on remixing Coldcut and The Shamen) and is a belter.
You can here it here.

Nokogiribiki Mixtape

This was brought to my attention via the Jodey Kendrick Facebook page. Its a 70+ minute mix of IDM and braindance classics and newish stuff.  My favourite has to be Mandroid Jimmy's Laser Beat a massive electro cut with a Jimmy Saville impression (that I can't actually place where its from) over the top.  Jimmy's Brain Can't Handle it indeed. Well worth a listen.

Download here. 200MB odd in M4A format.
